Terms of Service
Last updated 8 August 2026
These terms govern your use of GhLearner — our website, our WhatsApp bot, and our Android and iOS apps (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who can use GhLearner
The Service is built for students preparing for the BECE and WASSCE, and many of our users are under 18. If you are under 18, you may use GhLearner with the knowledge of a parent, guardian or teacher. We do not knowingly collect more information from a student than we need to run the Service — see our Privacy Policy.
Your account
- You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. Keep access to that number secure.
- You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- One account per person. Accounts created to manipulate the leaderboard may be removed.
- You can request deletion of your account and data at any time via the deletion request page.
Study material and copyright
Past examination questions originate with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). We reproduce them for educational revision purposes together with our own explanations, marking guidance and mock papers.
You may use the material on GhLearner for your own study. You may not resell it, redistribute it in bulk, scrape it, or republish it as your own — whether commercially or otherwise.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service
- Upload harmful, abusive or unlawful content
- Use automated tools to harvest questions or user data
- Impersonate another student, teacher or GhLearner staff member
We may suspend accounts that do these things, usually after a warning where the situation allows for one.
AI-assisted marking
Essay answers may be graded with automated assistance, and scores and feedback are produced by software. They are a study aid, not an official assessment. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or predictive of WAEC's marking.
No guarantee of results
GhLearner helps you practise. It cannot guarantee any particular examination grade or outcome. Nothing on the Service should be read as a promise about your results.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service running but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or withdraw features, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we'll say so on this page and update the date above.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GhLearner is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
